SRK looks great as usual, however that mehendi colored ill-fitting Manish Malhotra Anarkali worn by Kajol is just not happening, the saree from the Dubai premiere was good but the anarkali is baaaad!!

Priyadarshan who had directed SRK’s home production Billu last year, has branded the whole Shiv Sena and My Name is Khan controversy as a mere publicity gimmick, while the whole Bollywood is supporting SRK.

Karan Johar recently Tweeted, “Prolific and exceptionally talented filmmaker who makes cerebral comedies… the honorable Priyadarshan says this is a PUBLICITY STUNT!”

He further wrote, “Support from unexpected quarters is heartening…truly…sometimes we overestimate some equations and overlook some strong connects. Crisis can truly be an eye-opener…you know who stand tall with you and realise those who don’t…so much I have learnt today…miss my dad.”

Reacting further to the comments both SRK and Karan Johar have asked Priyadarshan to “Shut Up”.

Bollywood News: Majority of the cinema halls in Mumbai will screen Shah Rukh Khan’s movie My Name Is Khan on Friday despite threats by the Shiv Sena to disrupt its release.

Defying the Shiv Sena threat Fox Star Studios on Thursday night announced that My Name Is Khan would be release nationally on Friday.

According to Fox Star Studios the latest Shah Rukh Khan movie would be released in most cinema halls in Maharashtra.

Big threatre chains like Cinemax, PVR, Big Cinemas, Fame and Inox would go ahead and screen the movie. Most single screen cinemas have also decided to screen the film.

But cinema hall owners have decided not to start any show before 0900 hrs IST. All the 0700 hrs IST, 0730 hrs IST, 0800 hrs IST and 0830 hrs IST shows have been cancelled.

SRK reached Mumbai today amidst tight security and Shiv Sena was accepting an apology from SRK, and he apologized, but to Karan and Kajol. SRK said, I am really sorry. would like to apologise to Kajol, Karan Johar and our business partners. The film is going to be affected because of what I said. ‘My Name Is Khan,’ is not my film alone. It has Kajol, Karan ( Johar) and 150 other people whose livelihood depends upon it.” He further added, “I have done nothing wrong in saying what I did about the Pakistani players, and I said that as an Indian.If Bal Thackeray will call me, I will meet him anytime. I enjoy his company.” Meanwhile SRK who is a son of a freedom frighter, was branded as traitor by Shiv Sena. Party chief Bal Thackerey said, “Shahrukh is a traitor and he has insulted sentiments of Indians by favouring Pakistan players.” However Shiv Sena has decided not disrupt MNIK screening, they said, “How do we awaken this Congress party? This is how you rule. So go ahead. Let Shah Rukh Khan show his film My Name Is Khan without security. Traitors with the blessings of the Congress go ahead, the Shiv Sena will not block you.” Good that Shiv Sena has decided against disrupting of the movie.
